A bright star in the sky
It was there - but now it's gone
And nobody knows why
The reasons are unknown

A great man on the Earth
He was there - but now he's not
And nobody tells the truth
What his life was all about

Why?

The star doesn't shine anymore
But we still remember its light
And no-one can make us forget it
We'll never forget such a beautiful sight
